Use lukewarm water to wet your dog’s coat thoroughly. Avoid spraying water directly on their face. Pour a small amount of shampoo into your hand and lather it up. Apply the shampoo starting from the neck and working your way down to the tail. Be sure to shampoo the legs, belly, and under the tail. Use a damp cloth or a small amount of water to gently clean your dog’s face. Avoid getting shampoo in their eyes, ears, and mouth. Rinse your dog’s coat thoroughly with lukewarm water, ensuring all the shampoo is washed out. Any leftover shampoo can cause irritation and itching. Use towels to blot your dog’s coat and remove excess water. If your dog is comfortable with it, you can use a pet-friendly blow dryer on a low heat setting to dry the coat completely.
